Introductory Spanish 11

Does NOT satisfy all university entrance language requirements, but may be followed by Spanish 11, which does.

This course is recommended for grade 11 students who are seeking to complete their university language requirement prior to graduation. French Immersion and grade 10 students with no previous or with minimal knowledge of Spanish who would like to transfer to Spanish may be considered upon interview with the Spanish teachers. This a beginners course, which covers the condensed content of Spanish 9 and 10. Students should be prepared for a fast-paced course with heavy content in grammar, vocabulary, listening, and speaking activities. Regular attendance and active class participation are expected. Both written and spoken work is required. The following year students register in Spanish 11.
