Satisfies the university entrance language requirement

Prerequisite: Spanish 10 or Intro. Spanish 11

The main goal of this course is the development of a higher level of competence in written and spoken Spanish. It will include:

• Writing/Speaking: mastery of verb tenses, extensive review of grammar, idiomatic expressions and more complex sentence use.
• Individual and group oral presentations
• Readings and discussions on various themes and on literary and authentic documents emphasizing cultural awareness and information about the Hispanic countries.
• Course taught mainly in Spanish.
