In Sciences Naturelles 10 students will explore a wide variety of topics concerning genetics, chemistry, energy, and astronomy. Through various learning activities including inquiry labs, research projects, quizzes and tests, students will gain insight into the following big ideas:

• Genetics: DNA is the basis for the diversity of living things.
• Chemistry:  Energy change is required as atoms rearrange in chemical processes.
• Physics: Energy is conserved, and its transformation can affect living things and the environment.
• Astronomy: The formation of the universe can be explained by the big bang theory.
