This class will comprise of string, wind, brass and percussion players who wish to be part of a full orchestra. The ensemble is open to any student who plays a string, wind, brass, or percussion instrument. The Oak Bay Orchestra takes place Tuesdays at lunch and Wednesday mornings. Students will continue the acquisition of performance skills on string, woodwind, brass, and percussion instruments.

Elements of music including sight-reading, terminology, rhythm, melody, dynamics, articulations, phrasing, posture, intonation, balance and blend.

Music history and symphonic as well as pop literature will be explored.
