Japanese 11 Introductory

Japanese 11 Introductory is an accelerated entry-level course tailored for Grade 10-12 students who have not previously taken Japanese 9. Combining key elements from both Japanese 9 and 10, this course provides a strong foundation and prepares you to advance into Japanese 11, which does meet university entrance language requirements.
In this course, you will learn to read and write hiragana and katakana, with an introduction to basic kanji (Chinese characters). Through engaging stories and cultural activities, you’ll explore Japan’s language and traditions. Activities may vary but often include experiences such as preparing Japanese food, practicing origami, exploring calligraphy, and enjoying anime. This course is ideal for grade 10-12 students eager to begin their Japanese language learning journey.
