*Previous Hip Hop Dance Experience is advised

This course meets entirely outside the regular timetable.  Students should choose this course if they plan on auditioning for Squad OR joining Mini-Squad in the fall.  Each Hip Hop crew focuses entirely on the Hip Hop dance genre and refining dance technique through performance.  Students are expected to approach this course as if they were professionals, as both Squad and Mini-Squad are performance-based teams.  Commitment to the rehearsal process and an exceptional work ethic are necessary.  Throughout the year, students will be working with guest choreographers and/or student choreographers.

*Students are required to participate in the Evenings of Dance as a part of the course evaluation
