• Interpreting and critiquing films via movie reviews
• Cross-movie analysis and issues-oriented writing

Viewing Focus:

• Study of the evolution of film through the ages
• Explore the richness of various film genres
• Study of the diversity of the global film community

Student-directed activities include the following:

• input on the films selected for study
• group and individual projects, which will include making movie trailers and posters
• writing movie reviews on films of student’s choice
