Dance classes are on a skill level basis so they are multi-grade.  Grade 9 students with considerable previous dance training and skill development  may join the class upon successful audition.

Dance strip is required.

• Designed for students who have achieved a higher degree of skill in at least one dance form.
• This course focuses on more detailed aspects of Jazz, Hip Hop, Ballet and Contemporary techniques at an accelerated pace. Also, Broadway, Ballroom and Bollywood will be introduced.
• This course concentrates on movement qualities, composition, dance history and independent and collaborative choreographic projects.
• Students are required to critique their own progress.
• Students are required to participate in the Remembrance Day Assembly, Showcase Night, Fine Arts Tours, and Evenings of Dance as part of the course evaluation.
