This class will compromise wind players and percussionists who wish to be part of a full orchestra. The ensemble is open to any student who plays a wind, brass, or string instrument. The Oak Bay Orchestra takes place Tuesdays at lunch and Wednesday mornings. Students will continue the acquisition of performance skills in the woodwind, brass, strings and percussion.

Elements of music include: sight reading, terminology, rhythm, melody, dynamics, articulations, phrasing, posture, intonation, balance and blend.

Music history and symphonic as well as pop literature will be explored.
