Computer Studies 10

Computer Studies 10 is a survey course intended for students who want to explore a variety of software packages. This is a technical course for people interested in creating websites, graphic design, computer programming, game design, and robotics. While open to everyone, students should have some computer experience (typing, office/Google Suite, email, surfing the web). Students will learn:

  • Intro to programming – learn the fundamentals of a high-end programming language such as Python or JavaScript
  • Game/App design – learn how to apply your programming skills using a real-world development environment
  • Create a multipage website with HTML, CSS, and Javascript
  • 2D/3D Computer Graphics – create images for print, web, and games with Photoshop and Blender
  • Time for a final project of your own choosing
