This food studies 12 course will focus on balancing nutrition with exercise for a healthy lifestyle. The course will include an overview of the digestive system, macro and micronutrients, hydration, nutritional deficiencies, and diets, and its relationship to physical activity/ability. It will be a combination of cooking and food science that is applicable to both personal health and careers in the health and sport sciences.The course is open to grade 11 and 12s.
