This course enrols students in Grades 09 – 12 and may be retaken at each grade level.

This course meets twice a week at 7:25 am and/or the lunch hour. It also requires a substantial amount of time outside class meetings.

Students work together in cross-grade teams to complete assigned and optional projects ranging from spirit activities for the student body to service projects in the community.

• How to work with others and be a reliable follower as well as a leader
• Creating a project from scratch, solving problems creatively and resourcefully
• Time management, organizational skills, delegation of responsibilities
• “Playing by the rules” within an organization or a community; and working with adults in the school and the community
• Leadership 11 or 12 students and those who have leadership experience in earlier grades will be expected to take on more leadership responsibilities than those joining the program for the first time.
